The Global Health Gateway is for you!
The Global Health Gateway is an open web-based network for Australians and New Zealanders committed to a positive future in Global Health. It assists people stay engaged in Global Health by providing a dynamic resource to share up-to-date work and education opportunities; and developing space for open and respectful dialogue on current health issues, ideas and events.
How can I use the Global Health Gateway?
The Global Health Gateway is organised into three main sections: Resources; Forum; and Calendar.
Resources
There is a ton of information in the Global Health Gateway Resources vault.
If you are keen on furthering your Education and Training in global health you will find information on various Fields of Study, advise on Where to Study, and access to Free Online Courses. If you are interested in Work and Volunteering you will find a step-by-step guide on how to Find a Job, information on various work Settings (from refugee camps to health promotion), and Personal Stories from those in the field. Finally, you can keep up-to-date with the latest global health News from around the World with our collection of newsfeeds.
Forum
The Forum is your place to share ideas, experiences and plan you future adventures in Global Health.
As you explore the forums you will be able to kick-back and relax in The Lounge, debate Current Issues and Affairs, discuss, reflect on and organise Local Activities and Events, chat about Books, Films etc., and share opportunities for Work & Volunteering, Education & Training.
Calendar
The Calendar gives you access to hundreds of Global Health related events and activities happening across Australia and New Zealand.
You can easily search for events happening in your region, and you can Add an Event to advertise and promote your own global health activities (NB: to access this you must Sign Up / Sign In). The Gateway team strongly incourages Institutions to sign up and add your courses and events directly.
